Red bathing suits. Slow-motion running. Saving lives. All are returning for Baywatch.

A reboot of the original lifeguard drama, which ran for 11 seasons starting in 1989 and an ensemble including David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jason Momoa, is headed to Fox. The 12-episode series is slated to premiere in the 2026-27 season.

With production underway in Venice Beach and on the Fox studio lot in Century City, The Hollywood Reporter is rounding up the names audiences can expect to see in this new generation of Baywatch. Matt Nix (Burn Notice, True Lies) serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside McG (The O.C., Charlie’s Angels), Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. McG will also direct the first episode. Read on to find out who is appearing.
