As explained by Google:

“Thanks to advanced Gemini capabilities, Photos can now help you make custom AI-powered edits that bring your vision to life in just seconds. No need to select tools or adjust sliders. All you have to do is ask Photos for the edits you want to see.

So now, you can reduce imperfections, restore an old image, or even update your visuals with new backgrounds or in image elements (like adding a party hat or sunglasses to the subject).

“You can even make multiple requests in a single prompt like ‘remove the reflections and fix the washed out colors.’ And if you truly have no idea where to start, you can just start by typing or saying, ‘make it better’ or using one of the provided suggestions.”

So, more editing options within the Pixel editor, which could be a handy complement to your creative approach.

In addition to this, Google’s also implementing C2PA Content Credentials within the native camera app, across all photos created by Pixel Camera, both with and without AI.
